Overview:
The future of business is a partnership with AI. Practitioners must carefully assess current tools and invest in human-AI collaboration and continuous learning. This will be the key to navigating the exciting, but uncertain path ahead. Design Science Research sits at the intersection of Information Systems Theory and Practice with a focus on creating and evaluating innovative ICT artifacts to solve real-world problems. In keeping with the theme of this conference, this Workshop seeks to bring together Industry practitioners and Academics to consider the Global phenomena that presents considerable challenges and implications for local Caribbean communities: Artificial Intelligence.
The mode of the workshop is designed to be interactive and hands-on with one facilitated group discussions anchored by keynote presentation from leading expert Prof. Sameer Verma (San Francisco State University) on AI, and an opening address by the renowned Prof. Alan Hevner, a key architect of the Design Science Research paradigm. This will be followed by hands-on sessions on using Generative AI for Business insights.
